Poverty is one of the big problems that our country is currently facing. But do we really know the origin of this dilemma? Just like what our elementary teachers have taught us, lack of education, shortage in employment, hunger, etc. but these are not only sources of poverty but also what stems out from it. These problems are just like an infinite loop. Each problem is the origin and a by-product of the other as well.
Having knowledge about the real-life situation of what's happening in our fellow countrymen experiencing poverty firsthand might give us an idea on what are the common factors of poverty. From this tiny idea, we can devise a solution on how to prevent these factors which might later evolve into an antidote for our main problem, poverty.
"Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank" a film sponsored by UP TAU GAMMA PHI showing what is it like living in poverty and what it takes to survive from it. This film will give us a little grasp on the face of poverty that might give us an idea not only what stems out of it but also the solution that might be the cure.
